    @NINJA do you have any experience to back up your broad sweeping statement? πŸ˜‚

    @finnerz89 Yes I've been riding mountain bikes for over 25 years and have tried many so called 'puncture sealants', with most being total crap and they create more problems than they solve!!! πŸ˜‰

          @finnerz89 It's hard not to use right, you had a positive experience whereas I had a negative one - it is what it is.

              @britshgigolo run a mouse if you don't mind the tyres fairly soft and replacement every year or so

                @britshgigolo Surely if you reuse the stock hubs, any rims can be laced onto those - within reason???

                  As I say, I run tubeless tyres on my DT. Just swap the wheels out for tubeless rims.

                    @NINJA it's more the issue of sealing spoked rims mate, trials bikes use rim bands but I'm not too sure they'd be wide enough for stock DTR rims

                      @Glynn123 said in tubeless rims:

                      rim bands

                      i thought the rims were not suitable for tubless because the sides are not deep enough to hold the tubless tyre thought there was a diffrence in rims between the two
