I am suspecting my stator to be faulty, and a friend of mine has a stator for DT125R available, so i was wondering if it would fit on my DT125RE, or if it could be made fit.
Thanks!

You can mail it to them and I had mine returned within about 3 days. I think it cost me about £20 but it was about 15 years ago. They are online. Maybe worth a try.

@Bananper unfortunately not, due to the R having different electrics.
What makes you feel like the stator is faulty? They are pretty reliable, since it's just a winding... Could it not be the rectifier?
wrote on 20 Mar 2020, 11:23 last edited by Bananper@Calum well my bike has a no spark issue and as i said in my other post, the source coil showed a lower reading than the specifications in the haynes manual. 125 ohms, should have been 192-288. I already replaved my rectifier.

I would be reluctant to think so. It's just a coil of wire. Perhaps the pickup. But the coils? I dunno, I've not heard them going wrong through age.
Put it this way, a lot of this stuff still works on Lambrettas and they weren't theb est built to begin with and are like a million years old.

wrote on 22 Mar 2020, 20:58 last edited by Bananper@Calum I got a friend of mine to take of his left side cover with the coils in and everything, put it on mine and it sparked!
So i'm looking at what options i got when it comes to getting a new one, as paying 100£+ for one on ebay is too much in my opinion. Any suggestions, are there any aftermarket stators? -

@Calum Do you know if a TZR stator would fit, isn't it exactly the same engine as the DTRE? They are a lot more common to find on ebay.

The TZR Belgarda uses a 3MB Engine. I can't remember if I used the coils from that engine on my loom. I would have thought so. But I don't know about the 2RK models. The Belgarda engines should be somewhat scarce.
