    My fork is totally gone, beyond repair. I was wondering what other forks can I fit without much work.

      Why do you want other forks? Just stick another set of originals in.

          I am pretty sure those forks are so so so common used on loads of bikes. I just went to a scrap yard and found ones I needed.

              @HOBO4LIFE Yes,

              Also Yamaha WR125R forks are a straight swap and a little better on rebound than DT forks.

              Keep it real

                @Darty What about WR125X forks, will the calliper fit without adapter?

                  @HOBO4LIFE If the fork brackets and disc sizes are the same then yes, you should be OK. The DTX, DTRE and WR all had a 298mm front disc, so in all probability they are most likely all the same units, with maybe some minor differences. Compare pictures and ask for bolt spacings and disc sizes etc. before buying, just to double check and be sure.

                  Most bike manufacturers are notourious for using parts off an older bike, albeit with some upgrades such as stiffer springs etc. when releasing new models. As it costs them a hell of a lot more to design from scratch, rather than upgrading existing parts from current bikes. As the saying goes " If it ain't broke, then why bother fixing it". 😉

                    Sorry for late reply and bringing old thread back up.
                    WR125X forks do fit, but you will need wr125x calliper because holes do not match, washers on one side and modify the speedo drive(wr125x doesn't fit as its electronic).

                        Aren't the WR125 forks slightly shorter? I tested a set, however may have been the supermoto's on my DT and I felt like the bike was leaning forward more than it was usually? 😞

                          @GoProKid95 I am not really sure, as my dt forks were garbage all the time.
