SUPERMOTO WHEELS
-
@Calum maybe only certain years they used saxxes??
Ive stayed awake a few nights on the pc lookin up these and after extensive research I have found out many wr125x have the same exact wheels as the ones I have purchased today which are undoubtedly Excel Rims. -
@tdr125greg I've never seen it stamped on the outside of the wheel like that.
Looks great anyway!
-
@tdr125greg Interesting, my DTX 05' wheels are Takasago' Excel rims.
I wonder if build quality is different?
-
@Mightyman yeah your right there bro the mk1 tdr had spoked wheels, i did look into getting a set but again the front was still 18" and being from the older model, finding a nice clean set that dont require any refurb work was a tall order.
so i went for the Excels. -
@Mightyman @Calum @Darty Thoughts on this please gents.
"looks" like a bolt on for the wheels i have.
main question is overal value for money -
@tdr125greg Alloy sprockets are lightweight for Off-road racing.
It goes without saying, Alloy sprockets wear real quick, I got about 800 miles off mine
I recommend a steel sprocket
-
the steel ones sound like the "sensible" option but dayyym i think the alloy ones do Look great!!! can anyone point me in the right direction to find a nice shiny blue renthal/talon/like for like 57t sprocket for my wr125x wheels.????
much appreciation in advance guys
-
@tdr125greg I personally would ring arracing.
They are muy first point of call everytime and deal with renthal directly. As such custom sprockets can be made upon request.
