@tdr125greg Interesting, my DTX 05' wheels are Takasago' Excel rims.

I wonder if build quality is different?

    Keep it real

Interested to see how these will look on the bike! The older model TDR had similar sumo style wheels but haven't seen them on a newer model one.

@Mightyman yeah your right there bro the mk1 tdr had spoked wheels, i did look into getting a set but again the front was still 18" and being from the older model, finding a nice clean set that dont require any refurb work was a tall order.
so i went for the Excels.

@tdr125greg Alloy sprockets are lightweight for Off-road racing.

It goes without saying, Alloy sprockets wear real quick, I got about 800 miles off mine 🔥

                I recommend a steel sprocket

                Keep it real

Yeah I'd probably stick to steel as well if they wear that quickly! Unless you are VERY keen for the colour to match up.

I have only used ally and never had any problems with undue wear.

But that said I haven't ridden a bike in 2+ years...

@tdr125greg I personally would ring arracing.

They are muy first point of call everytime and deal with renthal directly. As such custom sprockets can be made upon request.
