my temp gauge does not work all other parts on clocks work, rev counter speedo etc, i had an overheat last week or so as i was ragging it where would i order the part/parts to get it working?

Fowlers have a website I use them for all my genuine parts I would start with your cheapest option the temp sender that bolts straight in the top on the cylinder head

There is a bolt looking thing with a spade connector, on the head to the front right this is your temperature sender, theres then a wire which connects to this, it may have come off, if not you will have to purchase a new one and there not cheap, £43 if you can find one.

Bullet is early loom spade is later loom

You could just make an adapter with male spade 1 end and female bullet on the other end so u wouldn't have to touch original loom

Better still, grab a thermal coupler.
The problem with the temperature sensor is that it measures the temperature of the coolant, not the engine.
The engine will go into detonation long before the coolant rises enough to become noticeable.
Therefore using a thermal coupler you will notice this spike almost immediately and be able to rectify the situation before it becomes detrimental.
