Help if you remind us of yhe model mate?

      DtRe?

Green and black wire that goes into the clocks. And its not a rev limiter. It just retards the powervalve which stoos yhe revs climbing.

Don't cut the wire, you need to earth it to the frame.

So give yourself plenty of wire.

@DevonDtr When he says earth it to the frame that means you'll need to join the exposed end of that wire on to the frame, it'll need to touch the frame to earth properly! It's best to try and find a bolt on the frame the wire reaches to and unscrew the bolt enough to put the wire under it and tighten the bolt back down that way it'll help keep the wire in place and it'll also be earthed!

@DevonDtr Yeah that's fine mate. If the paint is thick you might not get the right conductivity.

Doing this tomorrow anyways, but I want to make double sure as every site and Google search says different. So I snip green/black wire on speedo side, and simply earth it, ie with radiator bolt.. thanks for all the help btw

@DevonDtr Yip that's pretty much it but as Calum pointed out make sure that the paint isn't to thick on the area your earthing the wire to as it might not earth properly so just make sure you get a good contact on the frame 🙂 .

To be 100% earth it to the negative terminal of the battery

See I said that mate when I was 17. I then when I got realised what a mistake that was. It should make a massive difference.

I went from Zeeltronic to stock. And I had to derestrict it. And realised what a difference it makes.

It should be massively noticeable. Earth it to the battery mate.

@seandtr I think it's only for the DTRE/DTX models as they have a few more restrictions than the older DTR .
