I'm gunna take the pv cover of and rev it to see if it opens correctly as that could be the issue as was pinned before I got the cdi and put it back on the servo

don't go playing with carb setting yet tho I must stress to you that you should take your time and do every thing methodically or you could end up going in circles with problems you created which is what it sounds like you were doing, to begin with,
this could still be a few things ie needle jets throttle even fuel line so start from the top

Is it possible that my exhaust is filled with something as reading this page says about Miss firing could be down to exhaust spark plug or air filter

Or could this isue be down to stale petrol as it's probably been sat in the bike for 2-4 months

@vtrn_raptor stale fuel certainly won't be helping. I suggest you get some fresh in there

for instance my brothers cbr 600f just stopped running when we were going out one day I started taking the carb off and seen a fuel pump and the carbs still got cleaned but it was the fuel pump so didn't even have to be cleaned they were minging anyways though the point is start from the top if I had checked the pump, to begin with, time would not have been wasted if fact I would have told him don't worry the bike would be fine without it there for extra fuel at really high rpm and just taken it out at the side of the road that day and we would have had a good day out

I mean it goes to die before it's warm to keep it going I have to keep the throttle on but anyway just took for a little test ride without the snorkel and was a massive improvement but powervalve still won't kick it it goes to then starts to bog but stays running and it's actually rideable

                                        Fuck sake.

When the engine starts to die, turn the choke off.

Regardless of Terry's bike, or anyone elses, I know from personal experience that my bike never started without choke. Needed it for about 30 seconds, or until it's about to die off. Then choke off. Then ride it until it's up to temperature.

I'll take it for a longer ride later with some fresh fuel and see how it is as didn't take it very far earlier and go from their as bike hasn't been riden in about 2 months and only done 30miles on new piston
