Tdr 125 confusion
-
Hey people. .
New to the forum so hello to all.
I've recently bought a very tidy and unmolested 95 import from France. 1 owner from new with just 15k. Imy trying to find a replacement exhaust complete and need a few pointers.
I've looked at gianelli which seems to be favourite for quality and performance. But I'm can't find one to fit a 95! Are there differencestill between years? Or are they all the same fitment?
Help is very much appreciated. -
@acridjacket2t Hi and welcome aboard, post some pics dude. Which years are Giannelli stating that their pipe covers? I do not believe that there is much difference between DTR's over the years in regards to exhausts, but I may be wrong? Other's more knowledgeable on here will confirm, the mounting points may be different on a TDR compared to a DTR tho ???

Aren't there aluminium and steal frame versions? Deltabox?
-
@louis-james I think they're just steel.
It's the TZR that had ally ones.
-
@calum looks like both did mate

Deltabox, I knew the 250 did -
@louis-james That's ally? Looks more like Steel to me. Look at those welds, unlikely to get a Tig weld looking like that.

@ninja .. wocha @NINJA .
All pipes I've looked at are 98 onwards but look no different to mine. Then again they probably use generic images. I thought about dtr pipes but chassis very different (beam versus tube)
A friend of mine has a chrome dep front pipe of a dt for me to offer up. The search continues!
(How do I upload images on this post??) -
@acridjacket2t To upload a pic, just click the upload image cloud and then choose the one you want, click open. Then just wait a few seconds for the image to upload, you will see it in the preview window and then click submit - job done.

@louis-james I have the newer style delta box frame. It is in fact steel in disguise
