    @declan Ile take a picture of them won’t be Wednesday night tho there not tight got no.1 going to no.1 same with no.2 from pics I’ve seen of others looks right thanks

      I had a similar problem when my cdi went faulty. Was an aftermarket CDI mind you.

            @cartermarc1 I would disconnect the cables and just make sure the valve does a sweep properly when you switch the ignition on and off.

              @calum I’ve took the cables off it’s working anti-clockwise on the servo but only when I turn it clockwise with my hand

                @cartermarc1 It doesn't do a cleaning cycle then? Only going one way and not returning.

                Sounds like the servo ECU is burnt out.

                    @cartermarc1 I don't suspect it's the servo.

                    When I had this issue, it was the CDI that was faulty (since the servo's operation is controlled by the CDI). But depending on your model it might be a separate ECU.

                    For a 2002, I believe it's the CDI.

                    I would just leave it disconnected, and pin the valve open for now.

                        @cartermarc1 Set it to open and lock off the nut to stop it rotating.

                            @cartermarc1 The valve will be flush with the exhaust port, since the valves job is to altr the exhaust port height to enable better low end performance by restricting lost fuel and air theough the open port.
