Yeah that's lovely that. As Danny pointed out to me, lots of bikes on for this price range, I'd have a punt at advertising it on eBay or something.

I wouldn't like to say, I haven't been in the market for DT's for years.
Personally, I couldn't justify paying 3k for a DT, but that's me.

Anyone else have any ideas what it’s worth. I just don’t want to let it go too cheap but also I can’t see another one of them for sale anywhere so don’t know what to ask for it. Is it just in the same price group as all the other dt’s or is it worth anymore because of it being the limited edition? Or is that not as rare as I thought?

Honestly I don't reckon it would sell for over 2k, don't take that as me being rude, it's a beautiful bike. The problem is it's a Dt, they're no advanced machine in any aspect, look at what other bikes are around for that price? Dt prices are abit crazy right now and I don't think I've seen any sell for over 2 grand, even for very clean "r" models.
Lovely bike though mate, a lot cleaner than mine -

Don’t think your being rude at all mate, appreciate the honesty. Now Iv got something to work off. I paid £1500 for it so anything over that I’d be happy. A couple of people have told me it was really rare since Iv bought it so thought I might get more for it.

Is there anything other than the colour scheme or stickers that make it any different from a normal dt? If not I doubt rarity would apply. Would guess you paid around going rate when you bought it although as has been said people are chancing their arm and asking inflated prices for them.whether they are being sold is another matter, what you paid would be acceptable to me but prefer the very early ones personally. Give it a go on ebay if you want to try and maximise sale value, you never know your luck.

oh dear that’s not cool at all!!! I’ll leave it on here for a bit and see if anyone make me a decent offer. I’d rather it go to someone on here. If not I’ll stick it on eBay.

@gbone85 The next enthusiast vehicle I buy will be from a forum I reckon. Got stitched up on my Starlet and could have a minter from a genuine seller had I done my research....

I have just paid £2000 last month for my 2003 DT 125 R

I can't say a lot on a Stefan Everts edition DTRE. But in the condition it is in, I certainly would not accept anything below 1800 quid. I'd probably put it up for just over £2000, maybe 2.2 or so. It depends how quickly you want it to go mate, but these days a clean DTR is worth a good £2000. But not everyone likes the blue and red so I'd imagine a tougher sale, if it is for personal use.

@gbone85 I would give it a few weeks for the weather to warm up then put up on ebay for £2.500.00 and see of there is any interest, can always drop price after a week or so if no response. Is a good looking bike but too new for me, having said that problems Like ageing looms on the old ones make it more appealing
