Selling my dt125re Stefan everts mint condition
-
Don’t think your being rude at all mate, appreciate the honesty. Now Iv got something to work off. I paid £1500 for it so anything over that I’d be happy. A couple of people have told me it was really rare since Iv bought it so thought I might get more for it.

Is there anything other than the colour scheme or stickers that make it any different from a normal dt? If not I doubt rarity would apply. Would guess you paid around going rate when you bought it although as has been said people are chancing their arm and asking inflated prices for them.whether they are being sold is another matter, what you paid would be acceptable to me but prefer the very early ones personally. Give it a go on ebay if you want to try and maximise sale value, you never know your luck.

@gbone85 paying £1500 I'd say you got a very good deal, my Dt re was pretty much scrap and I stupidly paid £1350, but there again the guy persuaded me it had been built from the ground up with full fresh engine, I reckon his dog done the build since I've had to re do every bit of the bike in the past 200km I've rode it

@2stroketerry That is one FRESH dt

I can't say a lot on a Stefan Everts edition DTRE. But in the condition it is in, I certainly would not accept anything below 1800 quid. I'd probably put it up for just over £2000, maybe 2.2 or so. It depends how quickly you want it to go mate, but these days a clean DTR is worth a good £2000. But not everyone likes the blue and red so I'd imagine a tougher sale, if it is for personal use.

Keep it, future classic

@gbone85 I would give it a few weeks for the weather to warm up then put up on ebay for £2.500.00 and see of there is any interest, can always drop price after a week or so if no response. Is a good looking bike but too new for me, having said that problems Like ageing looms on the old ones make it more appealing
