The Helios Project (Aprilia RS 125 Rotax 122 Biaggi Race Replica)

@ninja How about now bud.
I do try to view them in private browser mode before posting them.
I will finish off this project using Google to host the images, on my next project I'll revert to Imgur.
It's after the PhotoBucket Scenario, I've lost countless images, and the ones I do have are lossy.
So I've uploaded them to Google at maximum resolution, but they're not great for hosting images...apparently.

@ninja I've got some awesome plans for this.
Ducati 996...and I shall say no more
Also been digging through Aprilia's Grand Prix catalogue for this bike. Ordered a piece to merely test the water. I don't believe you can actually get their Sports Production gear for these bikes anymore, hopefully I am proven wrong.

@ninja The SP parts are expensive, the ducati parts, well it's more custom that expensive. It was something fitted to most ducatis and parts can be found cheap. But I won't know until I investigate further. Needless to say, it's a pretty sweet way to upgrade these bikes.

@darty Once I finish the project I shall reupload and reformat this project to somewhere else. It's a shame, you would have thought Google would have been nice and simple.
Another few hundred quids worth of parts arrived today.
Like I know it doesn't look like much, but the achiles heels on these engines are the balancer cogs. Now mine do look like in good nick, but I wouldn't risk it. So new cogs were ordered.
The engine is pretty much built and ready to drop into the chassis. All but the clutch since they're out of stock everywhere I look.
Engine is pretty much built, although I forgot to order a crankshaft seal so I've turned my attention to the other side of the engine whilst I await the new seal.
I reordered the rest of the bolts for the engine Total overkill but I dunno, kinda feels worth it.

@calum said in The Helios Project (Aprilia RS 125 Rotax 122):
For you perverts out there, the chassis is now rolling!
I was going to drop the engine in, but a friend needed my Jack, and I kinda wanna build that separately. Will make maneuvering the bike a little easier as well.
Lovely job that Calm, you must be pleased with how it's turning out, looks awesome, very impressive

Could you bring it to Oxford sometime between the 18th of June to 1 of July? I'm going on a language course then.

@irongamer727 I doubt it'll be done by then lol.
