So this isn't really about my Dt, rather my Honda but I think this is more of an informational thread anyway.

Allright, it feels like my front suspension sits too low, thus making speed bumps etc scary.
Could old springs and old oil be the culprit?

Have your fork seals been leaking? Remove any covers over them and inspect for leaks.

What do you think I should do? The forks are not leaking or anything but it feels like they could be better. My options are to pull them both apart and completely rebuild them with new fork springs as well (I´ve heard the ones fitted to this bike are already too soft).
Or I could just change the oil and meanwhile change the seals as a preventative measure.
Either way I want to change that oil for some thicker as it is also bad from factory (can´t imagine it has become any better after sitting in there for 18 years).
I guess some new fresh oil could be a good start at least.

Would not hurt to put fresh oil in and seals, make sure you clean all the gunk out of the fork legs, progressive fork springs would be significant improvement. If you are using new springs would keep same oil weight to start off, otherwise could be over the top. Ask spring suppliers for reccomended weight come to that
