    @Glynn123 ok thanks.

Would you prefer to sell the whole set up? Or do you want the tyre?

@Louis-James I'd be happy to sell the whole lot if you wanted, I have no use for the tyre as my DT is just in sm trim and should be staying that way

@Glynn123 did you fit wr200 forks?

Just after the front wheel tbh.
      Thanks

@Louis-James I fit WR 426 forks but made my own custom axle to run the standard DTR/WR200 front hub sizes, the WR200 front disc was the same size as a standard nissin front brake system on a WR 426 so was a better wheel choice than changing calipers to use the smaller DTR wheel and disc combo

@Louis-James the axle is larger in the 400/426, the WR 200 wheels I bought use the same size axle as a DT, I actually ran them with the DT spacers on my standard forks for a while. Is this the same with yours?

@Glynn123 I haven't tried them on yet. But you could use bearings with small ID?

@Glynn123 according to the All Ball's site the 400 front end fits straight onto the 200. Guessing it wasn't as easy as that for the 125?

@Nottsbiker the yokes use a different bearing type on the top, and bottoms different taper too. Standard DT 125 uses ball bearings on the top compared to tapered rollers, also 400 stem is longer, takes some spacer work and a bearing cup but the swaps doable if you have a lathe.

@Glynn123 thanks. Makes me realise I'll be building supermoto rims onto my hubs and looking for an oversized disk to make the changes. I have access to cnc etc but will try to minimise this type of work to just a caliper bracket

                            @Louis-James few quick questions if you don't mind;

Front fork guards - assuming you've gone with UFO YZ new old stock?

What size is the bottom bolt on the forks that hold them together? It's massive and I need to buy the correct one

Is the chainguard the same as a 125?

Is the gear lever the same as a 125?

Where did you get your chain slider without taking out a new mortgage?

I've got a factory manual in Japanese but no parts list - do you have one at all you could email across?

                            Cheers - Ben

                              Hi Ben,

Yes the fork guards are old stock yz ones around £28

On the forks, are you regarding the one under the bottom of the fork leg?

I used a cheap AliExpress chain guard for the dt125r

The gear lever is the same.

The chain slide I bit the bullet and bought one from Yamaha... £45

Did your fork guards come with the clamp / guide parts? Mine are yellow and broken

The fork bolt is the bottom one as I need to fit some new seals as mine are leaking. They've taken out the pads too ffs!

@Nottsbiker yes they came with the clamps.

I don't think it's a standard size bolt but it's probably the copper washer leaking.

@Louis-James cheers! Btw it's the seals leaking not the bolt o-rings. To change the fork seals I've got to strip the forks completely and the large bolts hold the damper rods in 😉

@Nottsbiker mine were leaking on my mates bike.

It's usually because of crap in the seal. There's a trick to fix it.
                                      Pretty much like this: https://youtu.be/-D9ygYuSDiM
You can make similar tools with beer cans or plastic bottles

Thanks but the previous owner has really neglected the maintenance on my wr so I'm changing them as they are too far gone.

Found some UFO guards for £35 delivered just need a useable front disc before I figure out what I'm doing regards the headlight / front mudguard (mines rubbish after market junk)

                                          Still perfecting...
Had the whole front end off to sort notchy headset.

Got the new old pump cleaned out, seal replaced and installed.

The broke brake switch was not work and replaced it. The lever was also the wrong shape, so couldn't operate properly.

                                          Got my skid plate powdercoated.

Inline filter for the 2 stroke. Thought it was a good idea as both pumps were ganked up inside.
