    I don’t know about anyone else but I always notice my bike smoke loads on start up, it’s not until she’s given a good Rev or ridden through powerband the first time that she coughs up a load of smoke then eases off and goes to normal
    I’ve been told oil injected bikes are a known for being like that

    @Stevie-Wonder yeah that goes for all 2 strokes the oil doesent burn efficiently at lower temps so you need to clear their throats when they do warm up

      Since last night it’s filled up the air gap at the top of the tube and has a big ole drip on it. Not much but over the course of a week or two it adds up. Dunno why there isn’t a ball/spring one way valve like the Tzr?

        That doesn't sound right. I don't recall bubbles coming up on my oil feed.

        Regardless, it shouldn't make too much difference. So long as it doesn't make its way to the pump.

          I mean I took the pipe off that goes onto the inlet manifold, after the pump. The air was just from pulling it off. I Left it off overnight. It was higher than where it pushes on, not hanging down...

            WoW!...
            I emptied out the 2/ bottle and rebled the pump in last night with good oil. I put the small diameter clear pipe on that runs from pump to inlet, but I left it empty.
            Since last night it has risen 4inches just gravity feeding through the pipe!! I’m seriously thinking of getting a one way valve if possible. Anyone know of any purpose made bits? Before I search...

              Just found out an old pump and removed the oil out union, it’s a simple press fit. It DOES have a ball bearing and spring jobbie in it, the end of the spring had gathered a ‘plug’ of micro-lint, which was stopping the valve working properly. I’m guessing that the one that’s on the bike will be the same. I’ll soon see when I take off the pump for the umpteenth time!...

                  Sorry bud, I’ve already cleaned it up and put it back on the bike. It’s better now though, hasn’t rose at all...
                  I don’t know how to post pics with my iPhone either...

                        why was that oil in your exhaust, is it from your oiltank reservoir that was gravity feeding?
                        that valve youve mentioned, how does it work, i mean how it is supposed to open or close

                          @chris

                          It’s built into the silver union that delivers 2/ through the small diameter pipe to the inlet manifold.
                          It’s a small spring and ball bearing...

                          alt text

                          And yes, it was gravity feeding. The rest is in the thread...

                            @SpookDog

                            If you take it apart, use a drop or so of bearing/thread lock to secure it properly...
