    Also what gear levers fit best, standard is too short for my boot but the bike came with a rfx one for a 125 and had a small amount of play in it, the lever is annoying but not enough to damage the spline. Some one told me cr 85 apico or yz fit but is it a perfect fit realy don't want to mess up the spline with a bad lever fit

    @rking7888 I don't know if the CR 85 is a perfect fit, but I've been running it for years no problems.

      The Chinese chain sliders are perfect fit as I've got a one for the DT200R swingarm I'm putting in my TDR125 (same as DT125R).

      Cost about £15 delivered if you can wait - the chain guards are great too as bought two - one for my DT200WR and the other for the TDR125. Much cheaper than Yamaha

        Hi guys, on the hunt for parts again. I'm looking for some bar risers for my standard size renthals, what ones have any of you guys used? not sure what ones will fit.
        I'm also after a chain slider but only seem to be able to find ones for sale in China lol, is this my only option and has any one used one?
        I also want some better levers more yz style, what can I get to work with the dt cable again all I can find is China's finest lol.

        Thanks

        @rking7888 I always love posts like these!!!

        Which bike do you have as the DTR and DTRE have different triple clamps for the bar risers. The later DTRE levers do fit the DTR tho and are a nicer shape;

            @calum Is that an apico or std? Keep seeing bad reviews for apico lately but I've never had problems with their parts but I've never had a gear lever off them

                @rking7888 mines Apico Cr85 had it for years no problems.

                I think I tried YZ first and it didn't fit. That might have been the 125 though

                      @rking7888 I've read that they don't. I'm sure someone said it only lasted a few weeks.

                        @rking7888 no idea as its in my new parts pile for the TDR, but what I can say is that they appear to be made out of the same tough plastic as the Yamaha ones are. I went genuine for my 200WR (no other option!) and this compared to the Chinese one doesn't feel any different - the main difference was between £15 and £60 🙂

                          @rking7888 you can run a yz 125 shifter on your DTR, it’s quite handy if you wear boots, bulky shoes or just have huge feet as the peg for your shifter sits about an inch further forward and sits slighter further out

                            @stevie-wonder. I've tried yz 125 std and rfx they work but have slight play which will destroy the spline, I have to wear boots as it my woods n greenlaner and the std one is too short, everyone is saying 85 Levers. But the yz apico says for 85 125 250 everything so not realy sure what to buy yet
