      As we all know, the brakes are terrible on these bikes... Hoses that don't expand as much (or at all) should help out braking significantly and as a friend mentioned to me today, Hel Performance are offering a 50% discount today only as their 7th December Christmas deal.

      Click on today's date to get your discount code. Probably same for everyone though, 'NUMBER1'.

      Then the hard bit... Choosing the colours 😂

      Let you know if I find anymore good ones.

            Update: just ordered a set of hoses, 10 bleep nipples to hoard, 10 bleep nipple covers, some copper washers.

            Thanks for the heads up. All up £45 delivered! awesome.

              Theres several cheaper options on ebay - If you can live with another brand.

                @Jens-Eskildsen Have you used them before and know them to be good? A set of front and back brake lines for less than £30 from an unbranded company would worry me.

                  Personally, brand or not, brakes is not something I would skimp on. Usually you pay for a name. But in this instances I think I would rather.

                    It's just a crimped line, have never about someone breaking one, regardless of the name. Feel free to share your experiences.

                    It wasnt a whole set for less than 30 bucks, was that what was offered by Hell? I only saw 30 per line, if that was for a seat that would be an awesome deal.

                    Im not forcing you, just throwing up the option to choose for yourself. 🌝

                      My DTR had these Wezmoto braided lines on when I bought her, They looked good quality and I had zero problems with them. A set can be snapped up for £46 from here;

                          Thats cheap, I guys I saw it after the offer expired.
                          Hydraulicshops ect will make custom hoses aswell, so theres lot of options outthere, but 30 bucks for a set is hard to beat.

                            @Jens-Eskildsen Yeah I know what you mean and I'm sure you are right. I suppose it's just an area where companys can make extra profit knowning how people feel about "more money meaning better quality".

                            It probably isnt any safer or less likely to have issues but it's the name and brand and the big boys on race bikes that have invested in branded companies like HEL that make us happy to pay for it.

                            Yeah on that offer it was 50% off all online orders. So it was £29.99 per set ( £60 for both) but then 50% off bringing the total order back down to £29.99 which was a total steal. Meant you can get HEL quality lines for less than the cost of unbranded. Now those are the deals I like!! 🙂

                            You seem like a very clued up guy so hope you don't feel like anyones putting you down for putting an opinion across. I personally value anyones educated opinions and experiences, i see it as the fundamentals of a progressive society, but hey lets not get too deep here, this is bikes!
