Gotten to the point i hate riding it so going up for sale it looks the part but has to be the worst dt ive ever ridden i just cant put my finger on why, it seems to have a nasty speed wobble at around 60mph and i dont like the idea someone else rebuilt it so time to let it go

        Fuck me! That's bargain t £1500./

That is, THE year I want.

        Gorgeous looking bike that.

You are aware you have knobblies on that right! It's going to wobble.

All jokes aside, that is gorgeous and I'd say it's worth more than £1500, sorry to do anyone out here.

Only starting the bidding at £1500 calum i expect it will make abit more than that, i think its abit more than tyres ive found the rear swingarm has a bush gone but i have another rear suspension setup that everything is tight on so will fit that. I have started my own little project that i seem to be getting more out of tbh

@andrewj1680 I mean the frames on these are so solid. My bike got robbed and was completely battered when I got it back. Despite this it still rode fairly straight.

Suspension is going to effect the handling, obviously.

The spokes and wheels are straight and true?

If the spokes are lose then this is going to have adverse effects.

The engine isn't giving abnormal vibrations?

I'll see what its like once the rear suspension has been changed, ive changed the rear wheel for another from 1 of my other dts that rode faultless I'll change the front wheel along with the rear suspension and see how it goes, i am thinking about strip and nut and bolt rebuild it again from scratch i think a few corners where cut with it

                @andrewj1680 How peculiar.

Are the engine mounts all tightened up properly?

It was missing the bolt totally under the gear shirter but all mounts were tight and i replaced the bolt but made no difference, ive had the clutch cover off checked the balancer shaft i found a bent oil baffle plate i replaced and the waterpump propeller had been glued so replaced that also all the clutch is balanced right I'm running oit of ideas

@andrewj1680 Has the flywheel been modified?

Some people lighten the flywheel, but if it's not harmonically balanced you'll know.

Was this the one with the engine not balanceD?

@calum the flywheel is standard yes its the same bike that i thought the balance shaft was out on but when i stripped it out found it was where someone had glued the water propellor and must of put the clutch cover back on whilst wet the glue has stuck to the oil baffle plate which had then bent it on start up. When running there is no vibration up through the frame now like before however you still know about it if you take it over 60

Absolutely gorgeous. Despite the problems you mention for £1500 it aint bad at all, I'd take it off your hands if I could but my priorities have been shifted due to an accident I've had with the gasgas. Anyway, good luck mate.

It was yes i changed the swingarm and it rides like a new bike i have now decided to change the tyres for something more road friendly as you can feel and hear the drag they have on road. Thankful for the comments it pushed me into looking further into it 😊
