Generic sm wheels on dt hubs
-
Do I need to make sure that both wheels have the same spoke count or is that not necessary
-
Pretty sure that is a must. Other than that I'm not much help
-
@mightyman lol yeah I'm just trying to find out as much as I can before I commit dont like the idea of having no wheeled bike lol
-
The rim and the hub will have to have the same number of spokes yes! Lol
-
Doesnt matter if front has 32 and rear has 36fx.
The bike doesnt care, and theyre made to last on the bike youre taking them from in the first place. -
@declan As @finnerz89 said the rim and hub needs to have the same number of spokes. You can have different numbers from front to back as @Jens-Eskildsen said, but bear in mind that the more spokes you have the stronger the wheel will be. Most bikes are either 36 or 40 spokes per wheel.

@cyber-ninja I was just asking because I didn't my know wether there was a universal pattern for wheels
-
Nope, most are different. They can even have the same spoke-count, but the angle which the spokes are mounted can be different, the same goes with the length of them.
