My 03 DTR was filled with gearbox oil to 3/4 of the way up the viewing window 2 weeks ago. Noticed last night it's not showing on the window whatsoever even when it's leaned over. It hasn't mixed into the rad, all the cooling system is ok still. It hasn't been leaking anywhere. And it hasn't been smoking at all more than it ever has so I don't think it's burning it. Has anyone got any idea what the issue could be? Cheers.

Gearbox Oil Vanished!! 😂 -
YPVS Servo ProblemI have done so I know the servo motor is definitely working, just isn't working when plugged into mine. Is the white relay under the rear mudguard related to the YPVS?
-
YPVS Servo ProblemI know it's probably been asked before but I can't find any answers. I got hold of a working 5 wire Servo with cables etc for my 2003 DTR (01 engine fitted)
Plugged it in (Block & Bullet connector) and seemed to have no power going to the servo at all. No cleaning cycle etc. (Cables disconnected, Battery seems ok) Anyone know what the issue could be? Heard about a YPVS controller somewhere under the rear mudguard? Or possibly a fault with the CDI? Can anyone help? Cheers. -
Power valveSorry to butt in the thread, but has anyone got any idea why... when I connected up a working servo to the plugs it was completely dead? No cleaning cycle whatsoever, cables not connected so no load on it. Just not working at all. What's the most likely causes? Could it be a CDI issue? (03 DTR) I want to put a servo on desperately. Cheers.

PIC HEAVY (wr200 topend , zeeltronic, tm34ss carb, V-force reed block,Larger radiator,DEP PIPE,)This has gotta be one of the best DTR's I've seen! Absolutely stunning mate A load of great work here. Have you had it on a dyno?
I didn't realise until I looked back through the thread that I bought your old tank panels off of eBay last year. Still look good, although the RH one is now Drift Stitched from a bad knock -
Tm28 JetsI managed to find a company that makes precision jets for mikuni carbs (KMT Products) haven't fitted the 250 yet (240 standard I think) but have now reset then tweaked my mix screw and idle slightly and it is running much better in the lower rev range, no bogging when dropping gears etc. Feels slightly 'held back' in the midrange though and the same at the top end of the revs, with a slight 'cough' at full throttle. Hopefully will have time to fit the 250 main and raise the needle slightly this weekend and see how that does. It also feels as though it's revving extremely high in 1st & 2nd (pinned pv) then taking longer for the revs to reach 6.5K (hit the power band) in 3rd and upwards. Bit of a strange one, definitely a fuelling issue I reckon though...

Tm28 JetsCant seem to find any jets for the TM28 Mikuni need 250-260main etc. Fitted a dep expansion and now need to upjet to suit. Can anyone help? Know where to find them? Cheers

Taillight/Brake light issuesGot it all sorted cheers lads, turns out the loom extension had been chopped further up, and the connecting block was filthy. I replaced the cables, cleaned it and wired it up. Boom all working again
-
Taillight/Brake light issuesNo I reconnected the old light (led) and the brake light isn't working now on that either. Thinking a break in a cable between the light and the switches somewhere.
-
Taillight/Brake light issuesUnfortunately I don't have a multimeter at the moment to test it. Should be power there as the taillight works no matter what way the wires are matched up.
-
Taillight/Brake light issuesThe wires were cut with no power to them, the taillight filament in the bulb is working, but the brake light isn't. Both filaments are ok. Fuse is ok cause indicators and horn work on ignition switch.

Taillight/Brake light issuesI changed my taillight from an LED to a bulb unit as the LEDs had mostly gone. All three wires are correct (to the best of my knowledge) got the taillight working ok when running, but no brake light at all on either switch. Was working when the led was on and I simply cut the three existing wires to the led and joined the three from the bulb in its place. Bulb is ok. (Tried reconnecting the led but not working now either)
Any ideas? Cheers
