Okay, a few more NOS parts ordered and now the primary drive gear, clutch basket and generator nut all torqued to spec! [image: clutchAssembly01.jpg] All 6 TZ750 clutch springs fitted with brand new clutch plates and NOS OEM damper rings installed. I also replaced the factory pressure plate with a gorgeous billet RDLC Crazy pressure plate. [image: clutchAssembly02.jpg] It's said to have better oil flow and looks to have a fair amount machined out of it, but I was surprised to see it's slightly heavier than the factory setup. [image: clutchAssembly03.jpg] This milestone marks the completion of the bottom end There's just the matter of the water pump to install, I was really hoping to get a Chariot Performance uprated one, but they're no longer manufacturing them. And then there is a company that makes a stunning carbon fibre generator cover/chain guard. I did have my eye on a Chariot Performance one, but again they seem to no longer be making them sadly. The cylinders are booked in with Mick Abbey for some mild porting work, then the heads need to be sent off for machining. But once that's done it will mark the engine work completed for this project and I will turn my attention to the frame. The frame has now been moved into the garage and I'm just trying to figure out how/where the steering damper should be fitted!

@Calum said in GoProKid95's 2006 DT125RE (Supermoto Conversion): Aww I'm sorry it got robbed! Always heart breaking to see that. Looks like a lot of hard work was put into this as well! It's not a proper DT until it's been stolen

Sounds like you've covered the fueling system, which means it's going to be an electrical component. You will want to buy a new spark plug, HT Lead and iginition coil to rule out those items. Next will be the pickup, if that starts to deteriorate then it will start to missfire. Then unfortunately the CDI. But CDI's rarely fail, but I guess it is 30 years old.

@giorgio95 Must be first DTR with cdi on the back of the oiltank ? Wire in speedo you messed with white/black from the reed switch ? Thats linked to the cdi then ypvs servo. Sounds like it could just be a bad connection in the circuit somewhere if its kicking in when you move it. Easiest and proper way to set the ypvs cables on the pully wheel under the cover is like this. On the pully wheel in between the cables is a notch in the wheel, when you switch your ignition on and the ypvs spins over its cycle when it comes to a rest the notch should line up with the dot directly behind it. If it does thats it set properly just make sure the cables are tensioned up ok. Same applies if you have to adjust them to get it to line up and then your good to go.

Whats wrong with the motor? Have you inspected it? My startermotor for my xt600 got a cleaning and new brushes at around 110.000km, its now at 172.000km, and still working fine.
