@SpookDog nice thin even layer let the solvent dry and it should always do the trick , I can imagine people putting on excessive amounts tightening the case and it spilling out in the case, I repair industrial gear boxes for work and we always use it for them too and that’s a 24/7 running gearbox and it will last years

hylomar blue is normally my choice of Gasket Sealent

@SpookDog Would love to hear how them progressive fork springs are not really heard much about peoples experience with them

@Calum yes that rings a bell now with the faring bolting on to the airbox sounds like I’m going have to look around for a better 125r box, thanks for clearing that up

Just wondering if there is any fundamental differences in the air filter box in comparison to a dt125r and a dt125x box different part numbers on the box just looking for one which is better condition than mine and there is a good one on the old flea bay

Looks like somebody’s been busy don’t think I’ve come across these before when researching radiators that’s the left side possibly sorted for the build just missing a right hand side

@Calum haven’t got any of them rear master cylinders that fit the dt knocking around have you off the aprillas

Opinions, are stainless steel zip ties overdoing it for the loom ?

Took one for the team and purchased the expensive seal and bearing kit from eBay for the suspension knuckle.

Plenty of grease used inside.

I used the method of threaded rod for install.

Decided to install the shock to the frame also looking great on the bike I must say

On a side note smart phone camera are great but sometimes pictures don’t speak a thousand words looks way better in person.

@Calum should have worded little better was thinking more for the swing arm graphics

Just curious what people have done with graphics, have you Lacquered over them, put them over the lacquer, or lacquered then graphics then lacquered over again maybe

Little update some minor changes, originally decided a Matt finish for engine hangers went with a gloss finish think it’s a improvement.

Installed some electrics

Still perfecting the swing arm put lots of work into it getting it to a perfect standard

Had a little play making it look more like a bike

@SpookDog I haven’t added any sealer on mine shouldn’t really need it as it should be a compression squeeze, but I’ll see how I get on when it’s running probably a stupid question asking have you put the gasket the correct way up
