@ryanjimccfc Yeah, I'm not aware of any V-Force Reed blocks fitting these engines.

I know @louis fitted one to his DTR, but he is running a completely different engine.

88-97 Honda CR125 or WR200 reed block are the way to go,

But obviously, you will need to modify the bolt pattern to suit the DT crankcase,

I’m unsure of any benifits on a Standard DT top end tho,

Vforce 4 from a Yamaha blaster quad fit, just need to move the holes slightly inwards as in pictures 2 &3 but they do make a big difference.

I'm looking to get a reed block, is there any particular model of blaster that this comes from?

Wondering if the v4 is any better than my V3 block, I have to say it revs off the clock with no spluttering unlike the standard block did

No my original engine that came with the 125r had vforce the V3 block first with small modifications. Then built a custom engine with a sc125 (same as Yamaha dt125re ) engine with a wr200 cylinder, head, PV and crankshaft. Mikuni tm34ss carb, V3 vforce reedblock, open air box, zeeltronic reprogramable cdi, custom larger radiator and wr200 dep exhaust system.
The V3 block rules, revs out off the clock incredibly smooth and eliminated spluttering

The Vforce 4 On average they gain 0,4 a 0,5HP more and let the engine rev about 200 a 250rpm longer compared to a modified set of of standard reeds.

@2stroketerry Can't say I've had any rev limiting issues on my DT, maybe not riding it hard enough or not tuned enough.

I have YFS200 blaster vforce4 in my DT175/225MX, they just fit straight in bike has a stroker blaster crank blaster topend, i think they would be a bit narrow for a dtr. Wr200 might fit with a bit of moding. I have a DTR/YZ 125 engine running standard reeds with one and a quarter sets of petals to prevent high rpm flutter. Modded yz inlet rubber just to bolt holes need drilling and a bit trimmed off the right hand side, a modded open top dtr airbox with yz carb to airbox rubber with yz carb runs great
