Loctite or no Loctite, that is the question
-
Just nutloc

Just nutloc @Bluestoesonnose Oh ryt, it wants to be temperature resistent, else what's the point. It'll just melt. Loctite specify various types of grades.

What's the thoughts on using Loctite on the barrel and head studs, I'd normally use a dab of grease but everything I've taken off has had tread lock on it? @Bluestoesonnose I'm not sure why any threadlock is required on engine bolts, as @Calum has stated heat is the problem which will cause it to melt. I was always under the impression that you just tightened them up to the correct torque settings and be done with them???

Shouldn't be an issue, been using it on other motorcycles for years, it's what it's designed for. And I'm only holding on the barrel and head studs with it
