    Hi all, my foam filter is a bit dry so I have order a can of filter oil but was wondering has anyone used any other type of oil just to get me going until my order arrives?

            @markus-w would have thought 4 stroke would be too thick but i guess if you wring the filter out good it would be fine

              @declan yes that makes sense thanks. I think I'll go with the 2stroke oil as I have lots here and it can't do any harm if small particles get inside the carb or bore, just wanted to check first if anyone else has used it. I will put some in a spray bottle and hopefully it will be thin enough to go through it.

                @markus-w
                The manual says to wash it out with brake or clutch cleaner (not petrol) use motor oil and wring out the excess...

                    One of my first purchases, comes with piper cross air filter cleaner and conditioner. £20 too. Bargain.
