I've had just over 75, standard 1999 model just deristricted. Got a sat nav from the girlfriend for my birthday the other day so might check the accuracy of the factory clocks with it at some point

Haha yeah. We are a few guys and a girl who have a little offroadclub called Mudhogs, so it seemed appropriate.... It even matches the pink bike 😃

@Jens-Eskildsen Fair enough!! Sounds like a laugh. Love the pink DT's, they look so fitting for the 80's, early 90's. Get some gloves on though, remember what your natural instinct to do is when you fall over or even just fall off a bicycle; put your hands out, and the cuts and grazes from those, multiply the speed you're going on a motorbike compared to a bicycle and imagine your hands afterwards, not pretty!
Not meaning to sound like a dick or anything but I've learned the hard way and wouldn't want a fellow DTR rider to do the same 😄

75 mph on 2002 DT 125 R reed switch out of clock, have to say have been a lot faster on other bikes, but 75 mph felt like 140 mph lol, that front end gets light, my Uncle once had a go in a Audi Quattro as a passenger with a top rally driver. At the end the rally driver said well sir you at least know what Adrenalin is now its Brown and runs down your Leg LOL,I know how he felt now lol.

Two up it was off the clock but side by side with dad on a Fazer 600 he clocked me at 85mph. Don't think it would of done much more than that but for a 125 I was pretty happy with it!
