Here's how we stand the bike leaks coolant not a issue needs new hose clamps - bike only works in firsts and second any other gear and the bike does not ride it moves at walking pace and revs don't climb so I'm looking clutch?-to set off you have to redline the bike and baby the clutch has good power in first and second- leaks oil big time from the clutch actuator arm even though it's got a brand new seal installed correctly so I'm stumped at that.

@declan Things to do after the above issues are solved- strip all non essential wiring and weight- convert to pre mix - 90cc top end and maybe paint the frame if I can be bothered- any and all input is appreciated any ideas and any answers to the above issues this will be a slow build as money is an issue thank you

I think these are great looking bikes. I want to pick up a project one someday and stick a 125 engine into it.

@declan just stripped all the wires to get rid of clutter and potential broken wires

@declan @Calum how tight should the seal be around a clutch push rod mines leaking on a new seal and it's not very tight it's seals it but give not resistance sliding down the shaft?

@declan make that clearer it's full wrapped around the shaft but it's not a very tight seal what do you think?

@declan There should be some resistance bud.

@Calum hmmm okay maybe I'll try getting a new one now would you reckon my clutch plates need changing since I lose all power past 2nd gear?

@declan You would have to measure their thickness and check it against the specified tolerances

@Calum i believe that my power problem is severe clutch drag as the lever only has around 2 inches of pull and it's no where near enough

                                    I had a proper Minarelli AM6 CH Racing WXE50 when I was 16.

It had a 12mm Dellorto Carb!! lol

It only did 55mph, but it was the fastest 50cc to get there I've ever known.

                                    I'll always miss this motorcycle...
