    Depends how original you want to keep it, I've seen a few bikes with custom / chopped down plastics in the past. I personally would change the headlight as I'm not a fan of the older style ones but most like them.

      @Mightyman I already cut down my plastics the rear fender will be changed and the headlight is a bit bulky and looks heavy so I might change it are they easy to swap out for a new one originality is not what I'm going for

        Whilst a lot of it is going to be "How Deep Are Your Pockets" the most important thing is how do you want the bike to look?

        You want to decide how best to present the bike. You might want the OEM style. Or OEM+. Or you might decide to break the mould, however you decide, looking to others for their opinion is often not the way to do it.

        Seeking others approval, when really all that matters is, do you like it?

              Anything will work as long as it has a high and low beam, but it depends how handy you are with the wiring. It's not difficult if you have a multimeter

                Yeah you can get loads of these universal ones. Can't say how bright they are, but then the stock DTR headlighht isn't bright anyway.

                        @declan As others have stated, it's all about personal taste and what sort of look you're going for? Are you looking to keep the enduro look, or go for more of a street SuMo style look? Personally I do not like the over-busy panels with graffiti style graphics. The concept I had for my DTR was a contemporary look. I kept it traditional style with a more modern updated look, hence why I wrapped the panels in carbon look vinyl and added decals over the top. I wanted it to look enduro style with a street feel, which I felt I managed.

                        Swapping panels for a different colour or spraying them, changes the look of a bike and will keep it fresh looking. Spraying engine panels, pegs, swing-arms etc. will help the bike look newer and not aged. New modern looking mudguards, spoke wraps, fresh decals and even street tyres will change the look and feel of your bike dramatically. I always like a simple, somewhat plain look, with a chosen theme running through it works the best, but it's your call really dude. Polisport make some cool LMX headlights;

                        https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sis.html?_kw=Polisport+LMX+Lamp+mask+Headlight+Black+Aprilia+ETX+125+MX+125+MX+50&_id=331657438874&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2658

                        And you can even run this bulb in it:
                        http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H4-2000LM-2-20W-2-LED-COB-Motorcycle-DC12V-Motorbike-Headlight-Headlamp-Hi-Lo/122123990095?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

                        I would personally pick a simple theme of no more than 3 or 4 colours, like say a black body, silver engine, with white panels and add a splash of blue parts/decals for some bling for example and co-ordinate your parts to that effect. But it's your call dude, pick whatever style & colours you like and just go nuts!!! LOL 😉

                        SEDUCED BY THE DARK SIDE!!!
