Hey guys I need emotional support while checking my new bike over I noticed there’s an hairline crack that looks like it’s only on the left side not on both it’s on the rear most mount for the muffler so what’s my options I can get it welded but I need to find someone capable or will something like liquid weld work or alternatively is if not really a problem?l

@declan what bike? I'd go for welding all day long.

If that is ally then it will need to be tig welded. I personally wouldn't bother.

            Happy birthday.

@calum my birthday was on the 16th but I’ll take it thank you so you thing it would be okay? I’ll probably liquid metal it for now and sort it when I can the exhaust is tweaked too so it don’t go into the head very well I want to check the piston anyway so I’ll try unbend it later

Nice bike, that's a bit of a step up from the DTR.

@calum yes the dt is the most powerful bike I’ve owned and only ridden a yz 125 for a minute or two so I need to take it easy

Don't liquid metal it mate, if you want to sort it get it tig welded, won't cost much and easy job

Just to cover the scratches up not a permanent thing I don’t think,it needs a new clutch so I’m gonna sort that before I ride it next I don’t need a clutch holding tool for that do I?

You probably will do yes, clutch baskets can break pretty easily without the proper tools. I know from experience.. 😅
