@finchfocker I myself just bought the DCCDIP1 race. Seems like a great unit, just programmed myself a ignition map to start off with, hopefully I'll get a chance to plug her in soon!

LED bulbs?I have one on my DT. To be completely honest I have no idea how it works, but it works good. Last owner was an electrician and made it work somehow. Ibthink it's one of those chinese LED kits that comes with the adapter thingy. But yeah, works pretty good.

Engine blown upThere's a few possible causes:
-
Your spark plug is too hot, but since you said it was too cold I don't think this is the case
-
Your jetting is off and your bike runs way too lean.
-
Your ignition timing is too advanced. This propably isn't the case if you haven't modified your ignition.
I'd say your bike was running way too lean.

Still no spark@Haako-Smith Could be the stator. We've had problems with my friend's stator in his KTM, it tends to destroy them. But then again it's a different bike, could still be a possibility tho.

Airbox with bigger carb@Darty Oh, didn't think of the wr inlet thing. I'm actually trying to modify the original inlet boot right now, if the project is successful I'll post some pictures. But thanks for responding. I don't think I have the skills to design something like that but I could try. I just really don't like my pod filter because it gets wet easily and just sucks a bit overall.

Yamaha DT125R '01 - Running Project@declan Alright, I'll get myself a pair of those! Thanks!

Yamaha DT125R '01 - Running Project@Calum Really nice! My only problem is the budget, those things are like a 100€ Maybe I should get some Chinesium ones
-
Yamaha DT125R '01 - Running Project@Calum Ok so they fit easily? I'll think about getting myself a pair of those then!
-
Yamaha DT125R '01 - Running Project@Calum That's nice, how do the KTM pegs fit the DTR? Any modding needed or bolt-on?
-
Yamaha DT125R '01 - Running ProjectYou should really get some better foot pegs! I think the WR200 ones fit right on.
-
Airbox with bigger carb@Darty Or if you don't wanna give me the files for free, could you make me an intake and the tube between the airbox and the carb? I'd pay for those and for the posts, if we get into an agreement on the price?
-
Airbox with bigger carb@Darty I have 131cc stock cylinder with 200° 70% exhaust port and redone transfers, a riser for the cylinder, lowered cylinder head with 1mm of squish, 34mm mikuni tm with modified original intake manifold, old model giannelli exhaust with HGS silencer, YPVS pinned open. Thinking about getting the Zeeltronic CDI so I could get a custom iginition curve and get the YPVS working properly.
-
Dep@jonne123 Buy the old model giannelli from Mopo Sport. It has a shorter and straighter "header" (alkukäyrä) than the new "regular" giannelli so it's more suitable for higher revs. It's alot cheaper than the dep but acts pretty similiar, my whole setup is pretty high end and designed to rev high but I have the old giannelli and mine revs up to bit over 13krpm, with the peak power being at around 10-11k.

Airbox with bigger carb@Darty Are you the guy who 3D-printed those new parts? Could you give me the files, I have access yo a 3D-printer? It'd also be nice to know what kind of plastic you used if it's flexible and can withstand gas and oil.
-
Airbox with bigger carb@Darty I use a flatslide TM 34 Mikuni. And my setup is far from stock otherwise btw
-
Airbox with bigger carbHello. I have a Mikuni TM34 on my DTR, and had to put on one of those shitty sock filters that are tightened with a zip tie because the original carbs opening is something like 44mm and mine's 58mm, so the original carb-to-airbox rubber had no chance of fitting. Just wanted to know, how have you guys connected a bigger carb to the original airbox? Or what kind of air filter setup have you had with a bigger carb?

Yamaha DT125R '01 - Running ProjectHey darty, could you share us the files for your 3D printed intake manifold and airbox thingy?
