TDR issue

Yes looks good in that color scheme
-
@tdrnoob first thing I did was removed starter motor to see if its really that problem and it was. I had a broked bearing stay. Thats a plate behind a flywheel where starter clutch sits on needle bearing . I am replaced it , cleaned and lubed everything in there and its ok now.
Number 1 was broken .

@nottsbiker Not sure if it is tight as it is my first bike
Also I have changed the old air filter and cleaned the carb properly.
Good progress because of wanting to ride and commute to work.
I bought it back in may and since then made only 100 miles.

Did you get it from Unit 5 Motos? Seen one like yours on their Facebook page with one black side panel on an otherwise red TDR.
I'm in France at the moment and there are loads of Belgarda's for sale here, mainly our model with wire wheels in various conditions from โฌ600 upwards. Typical I'm skint
-
@nottsbiker Yes I did.
I was following them and waiting for something special like this.
On which french website you are searching for those Belgardas?
-
Lebancoin
You will struggle to find anyone willing to post to the uk and the shipping rates are crazy from here.
Loads of lovely WR200's out here too

An example of a colour scheme I really like the look of;

Another update with the brand new issue
Cold bike. I couldn't start start it. It didn't accept the throttle. Started with the choke only. When warmed up everything worked fine with the choke off.
Spent about 10 minutes on adjusting the carburetor air screw (to get the highest rev on idle)
Noticed that the bike is heating up a bit to fast. (Heat arrow pointed at 3/4)
Decided to go for a ride
In the beginning accelerated well, after 2-3 minutes started to feel like something is dragging behind.
Engine was running very slowly and it didn't accept the throttle.
I stopped and noticed that in neutral gear is hard to push bike forward of backwards. Looks like the engine is tight?
When it gets colder then gets back to normal.

Any thoughts?

Did you check the carb was still on factory settings and ensure that it was squeaky clean?
-
@nottsbiker I didnt change anything in carb. Dissembled and cleaned with the carb cleaner. Then put it back together as it was before
-
Worth checking that the inlet rubber is not perished then (between carb and engine). Mine is shot to pieces and I've yet to see a new one for sale
