@oldman I have changed the old seat cover with the new blue leather. It is not perfect fitted as I couldn't stretch properly where is angle.

Pretty happy with this blue color

@zrako Yes, it looks like is the same thing with mine.

Have you fixed that or just ignored?

@tdrnoob first thing I did was removed starter motor to see if its really that problem and it was. I had a broked bearing stay. Thats a plate behind a flywheel where starter clutch sits on needle bearing . I am replaced it , cleaned and lubed everything in there and its ok now.

Sounds like the engine is very tight to me from the rebuild. Hard to tell from a YouTube video

Looks like you are making good progress though mate ๐Ÿ™‚

@nottsbiker Not sure if it is tight as it is my first bike ๐Ÿ˜•

Also I have changed the old air filter and cleaned the carb properly.

Good progress because of wanting to ride and commute to work.

I bought it back in may and since then made only 100 miles.

Did you get it from Unit 5 Motos? Seen one like yours on their Facebook page with one black side panel on an otherwise red TDR.

I'm in France at the moment and there are loads of Belgarda's for sale here, mainly our model with wire wheels in various conditions from โ‚ฌ600 upwards. Typical I'm skint ๐Ÿ˜ž

I was following them and waiting for something special like this.

Another update with the brand new issue

Cold bike. I couldn't start start it. It didn't accept the throttle. Started with the choke only. When warmed up everything worked fine with the choke off.

Spent about 10 minutes on adjusting the carburetor air screw (to get the highest rev on idle)

Noticed that the bike is heating up a bit to fast. (Heat arrow pointed at 3/4)

Decided to go for a ride

In the beginning accelerated well, after 2-3 minutes started to feel like something is dragging behind.

Engine was running very slowly and it didn't accept the throttle.

I stopped and noticed that in neutral gear is hard to push bike forward of backwards. Looks like the engine is tight?

When it gets colder then gets back to normal.

@tdrnoob DEAR GOD ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Poor engine.

                              IT'S LEAN FOR SURE,

I'm pretty sure that is an outrageously lean fuel condition.

                              That is bad.

                              Very bad.

Get to Jetting that before riding it anymore,

                              Keep it real

                                @darty said in TDR issue:

I mixed petrol as per instructions. Used about 35 ml of 2 stroke oil with 1 litre petrol.

No idea what to do with jetting.

I didn't expect that after full engine rebuild ๐Ÿ˜•

@nottsbiker I didnt change anything in carb. Dissembled and cleaned with the carb cleaner. Then put it back together as it was before

Worth checking that the inlet rubber is not perished then (between carb and engine). Mine is shot to pieces and I've yet to see a new one for sale ๐Ÿ˜ž

                                          Belgarda version?

Watching loads of items I need at moment but would definitely buy one later at that price
