Never heard of it, it's not as simple as a plug and play system.

The Zeeltronic gives you the ability to store more than one map, and select that map from the handlebar.

But for the money the Ignitech sounds bang on. Although that said, £260 is cheap for a remappable CDI

Literally plugs and play. Provided, you do need a laptop..and a good idea of what your actually doing.

I think your all mad spending nearly £300 on a Zeel system with programmer, on a DTR125 none the less, only to then have equipment you wont quite understand.

    Nothing against Zeeltronic,

    Keep it real

So this gadget can alter the ignition timing? Why would Yamaha not use the best one? Or can the different settings be good for different reasons? So for example you can remap the bike when chasing too speed and remap it again when chasing aggressive acceleration? Please, explain it 😉

            @darty Ah that's nice.

Yeah I didn't really think about the price to be fair. As said, I got mine for £160 from Skellerns.

@Irongamer727 Why would Yamaha not use the best one what?

The bikes were limited to 15Kw power. They achieved thay easily, and therefore had no need to create an aggressive map.

As said, aggressive maps are more prone to detonation, and therefore harder to tune for bikes to run all over the world without any modification.

They also are more peaky, and therefore less tractable.

But the maps on the RE are pretty sweet. Comes on nicely.

I finally made a mount for it,

@Irongamer727 Yamaha's ignition curve is for low octane fuel range, reliability, low end torque and wide efficiency.

It is one of the most limiting factors of the engine,

Allright, I have spoken to both the zeeltronic company and the ignitech company. Both come with contacts and everything is plug and play. Both are programmable. However, I don't see the reason why you would go for the zeeltronic instead of the ignitech.

                  Ignitech prize plus connectors~170 €

Zeeltronic including connectors and some program ~ 300€

Ignitech seems like the obvious choice to me

Why not just use a standard 89/90 cdi there is no restriction at all in them and the bike will rev completely out and do the clock with the right gearing.

so won't save much and there will be no servo control and kind of not plug and play I don't know just making the assumption
