@Calum It's very inferior to the 3XP-4BF WR200. No Aux boost ports and very tame port timing.

@mhbikesnbits I'm liking the project man, should be sweet! The 3ET lump with some breathing mods will make a nice road going 2stroke. It's a very unstressed engine, plenty of torque down low. Kind of want one as well,

I didn't like the damage to the crankcase and the price of that one, but a good project base, keep us posted.

@Darty as just said in previous comment two stokes tune up up well so can see what I can do there,

There was some damage to the case yes but the rest of the case is solid may be able to something to it to repair.

I had 3 options for the build for more power there 3et engine the 3xp and a Athena I canโ€™t justify the Athena because I can just get a 200 engine for similar price sell my old and get money back but I couldnโ€™t get a 3xp and as said previous just dying get on the road :face_savouring_delicious_food:

Definitely going be amazing bike once finished Iโ€™m 110% sure of that

Done some work to the engine today started to strip,

internal condition is looking good need some fly wheel pullers to remove the fly wheel and stator so i pull case apart so I can carry on

Will be changing the bearings, seals and a general clean up of all the internal parts.

      New piston also

Will also Aqua blast the case clean up and spray black for that old school look!

Seat refurb- cleaned up, pulled old cover off and removed old staples.

also added a layer of foam on top of existing to add some riding comfort, from what I remember on my old dt the seat was abit uncomfortable on the old arse

Re foamed the base of Seat for vibration

New seat cover as seen in previous post

Repair to the 200 crank case today where it had been damaged purchased like this but easily welded back painting case black anyway so should hide the repair

Still need to shape out where the wire sits in the case off the magneto
