On both my 1988 dts they have grease nipples on the swingarm, just changing the bearings on another and no grease nipples?. Were they omitted from later bikes?

@calum on the main axis of the swingarm I have 2x grease nipples, one for each side, on the 88 bikes. I'll pop a pic up as soon as I can

On my 2003 dt there a 3 grease nipples, 1 on swinging arm and 2
on the linkage bolts. -

I would of done if I’d had any decent taps when I was rebuilding my swing arm. Mines an 88 (allegedly
things change with 15 registered previous owners) and I don’t have any fitted. It’s a pretty shitty cost save IMO. The bearings were rusty when I stripped it down. Being able to top up the grease would of extended the seals life, which would of prevented water getting into the needle bearings...
False economy @ the buyers expense! The nipples are pennies and drilling and tapping 2 holes can’t be that expensive!...
