      @Darty Here was my 4FU

As said I don't know natively if it supports domed, but certainly if you removed that ring and reworked the head

Mine might have been modified, the crown seems very different. No signs of a heavy skim. it's a closer match to a P' stamped head but with a squish height less than .5, A domed piston would crash into it at that point.

A base gasket would help, but then you begin to change port timings, not good. I gave up on a 4FU, Nicasil is expensive if you lunch the bore up.

      Keep it real

        Sorry my bad.

I have had a few 4FU's and they have all been this way.

Which is why I said it...

Another purchase sees the trail tech vapor and indicator dash added to PROJECT TDR.
I purchased the kit on eBay from Moore speed racing for £150 all in which I thought was a good deal. 🔥🔥

Any of you guys run the vapor on a tdr/Dt before?

I always thought replacing my TDR clocks with something like this would look a bit out of place as the stock one moulds nicely into the plastics. Bet theres a big hole there now! 😂

@Mightyman I have thought about the same problem but how about 3d printing a new speedo surround then fibre glassing bondo, filler paint to finish ?

@tdr125greg That is a very nice idea actually! Would be even better if you could save the fussing with fibre glass and just get a snug fit with something 3D printed.

@finnerz89 looks tidy mate, how responsive is the Rev meter and do you have the radiator temp sensor or the sensor that goes on the spark plug?

Temp sensor that fits inside the radiator fin. I might get one for the plug and wire them through a switch

@tdr125greg The one I fitted to my MT-03 was SUPER inaccurate with the rev counter... I fitted it to the spark plug wire as the instructions mentioned but at 60mph+ speed the revometer would be all over the place, claiming I needed to shift all the time 😂

@finnerz89 Yeah I believe it's the green/yellow wire that will pulse when the ignition fires. So no need to wrap the HT lead you can just wire it directly to the CDI.

I would double check the wiring diagram first mind you.

@Calum I've been in talks with borut at zeeltronic, and I have decided I will definitely order the cdi and the programmer within the next 2 months. I've seen many varied experiences using the Rev counter but I'm assuming that's down to a bad install as I've also seen the Rev counter work great..

@Calum I've been in talks with borut at zeeltronic, and I have decided I will definitely order the cdi and the programmer within the next 2 months. I've seen many varied experiences using the Rev counter but I'm assuming that's down to a bad install as I've also seen the Rev counter work great..
