    @Zrako The yz steering stem is longer than the stem on my chosen forks therefore I do not need/have the space to consider the upper bearing cup.

    My tdr frame does differe to the frame Of the Dt.

    Your best bet for information regarding the bearing cup method can be found on the forum thanks to @Calum

    That's your Bible near when it comes to a yz fork swap on a Dt 🙂 even @gareth_iowc references Calum's method for his project 👌👍👊

          OMG IS THAT A ROLLING CHASSIS BRO???

          Not quite!!!!but it does give an idea to how she will sit, I'm so happy with how things are planning out so far on this project for now though
          I'm still looking for a tidy wr200 rear swinger and a nice piggy back gas shock (which one I'm still undecided on).

          Enjoy

            @tdr125greg Sure looks sweet there bud, I love the polished ali look myself and would keep it all that way! Not sure if you said it before but are you going for the SM look or not? That bike with high mudguards would look unique and much like a CRF me thinks. 👍

              @CYBER-NINJA yeah man Polisport SM line fender and a front mask headlight. as much as would like to have my frame all polished and dam bro iv thought so many times about polishing it i always come back to how schweeet and how much less maintenance it would be to have the chassis powder coated in a graphite/slate grey

                @tdr125greg Too true, you can protect polished stuff with ACF50, which does a cracking job of protecting it for-sure;

                But hey I hear what your saying with the powder coating and at least your sticking with the silverish theme. I'm sure she will look sweet once your done and be unique as I said before. 😉

                                    @Zrako It's going to be softer than steel, the head stock can take a battering as well, it's under some levels of force. But I'd imagine it would be fine. After all the aprilia is an Alloy Frame/Headstock.

                                    So it should be up to the task fine.
