This has gotta be one of the best DTR's I've seen! Absolutely stunning mate
A load of great work here. Have you had it on a dyno?
I didn't realise until I looked back through the thread that I bought your old tank panels off of eBay last year. Still look good, although the RH one is now Drift Stitched from a bad knock -

One-day there will be none left.
Had a end of tax year bounty from HM -

Yes you are right Louis, however there will always be better engines to transplant should that be the case.
Hell even electric engines are far superior to most petrol motors/.

Got some work done.
Replaced the clutch springs for the uprated wr200 version (15% stiffer than stock WR) they are actually longer, but that's one way to make the sprung force stronger.
Oil and Coolant change, replaced the 2t to manifold hose for another clear one as it has gotten cloudy.
Polished the exhaust and detail cleaned the underside of the engine in every nook and cranny that was left from rain riding haha.
Straightend up the rear silencer as it was aiming to my number plate and getting lots of gank on it.
And resealed the slip on part on the downpipe (I hate slip on!)
Got a new fuel tap to fit when the radiators welded up, I'll do it together.A few new visual mods I'm toying with are to come (make it more original trail look)

Just made the school boy error of spraying all over the clutch with brake cleaner to get all the old oil out of the transmission but forgetting that there needs to be oil on the clutch plates so they can fully disengage.
Hopefully when I start it up in a weeks time with new fuel and rad the oil will get in the plates and free it all up

@Mightyman I know haha I just forgot as it's been a while
, I didn't replace the plates, I replaced one spring at a time and blasted loads brake cleaner I. Im pretty sure I did this once years ago but it soon sorted. I probably will change the plates in the near future.

Painted the core for a more stealthy look, also hides all the dust that gets caught in the fins.

@Mightyman it won't effect the cooling, it's so thin. I've had my intercooler powdercoated

It's on, really good fit!
Hoses line up, clearance everywhere is perfect.
Cap is easy to remove. Can't wait to run it.

@Mightyman thanks
just got to take off the fuel tank for a new tap and empty old fuel. At the same time I will bleed the cooling system.
