@mitch_350z quickest, dirtiest solution would be to diwconnect the servo, pin the valve so it is flush with the exhaust port, then ride it.

@mitch_350z Yeah fix the servo. But doing this will help to identify the faulty component.

@calum I don't think there is a fault with the servo?? It works perfectly fine upto around 7000rpm??

@mitch_350z It shouldn't close at 7000 mate, not even restricted. Restricted dtre's close at 10.

Sounds to me like it is simply not setup right. Closing when it should be opening.

@declan Yeah should pull to around 12 mate.

@Mitch_350z So long as its flush with the exhaust port that's the main thing.

                        How does it ride now?

@calum it seems to ride better when pinned but still only does 65 max and doesn't pull too well in 6th?? Struggles a little to rev up to but don't know If this is because of the pinning??

@mitch_350z It shouldn't pull well at the lower RPMs, but past 6 it should pull hard to 12. If it doesn't then it's not the powervalve causing the problem.

Everybody has to remember that 99' onwards 3RM DT's are CDI restricted to 8,500 RPM...

So, don't expect anything like a 3 wire servo Pre 96' model.

@finnerz89 Well, I wouldn't say WAY past. I think it's 10k. Because the Powervalve closes then and then it really struggles. But it's as simple as earthing the black and green wire then you get full power.
