@tdr125greg the "fat" area 28 mm is in the clamping area and it reduces to the 22 mm on the ends so you need only the conversion-risers for clamping and you can keep all the other stuff for 22mm

Whilst the lathe I have access to is out of action, they really are not that expensive, you can get a hammond drummon for a few hundred and what you can make on them is endless possibilities
