@calum yeah, it has a direct feed from the battery, if the contacts inside are welded together then as soon as you put power to it the motors going to turn

@finnerz89 Sorry I thought he meant that the button works if the switch is on or off.

Just read it again, yeah what you said sounds about right

Does this mount to the coil bolt. Looks like it fits onto something. The loom on the Belgarda TDR is slightly different to the DTR ones.

@nottsbiker I thought regulator mount, looks like the one on my DTX. Either way anywhere on the frame should do

Regulator mounts differently on the TDR to the X. Yours iirc it's on the rad frame and the TDR one fits like the DTR under the seat and is held on with a screw that doesn't hold anything else on

@nottsbiker would you happen to know how the starter relay is wired up . Amy pictures would be a bonus.

Is it not in that pdf i sent out last week?

Iirc it's connected to the battery via a heavy duty red (positive) cable which then goes to the starter motor. I think that the black (earth) cable goes from the battery to the solenoid then from there attaches to the engine. There is also a two wire plug that goes to the solenoid which is the lower power switching signal which is connected to the starter button.

No pics I'm afraid I'm away on holiday at mo
