@calum are you running the stock box?

@irongamer727 No box mate, pod filter, easier to jet, less restrictive.

What's your opinions on cutting out the airbox lid Calum? I'm thinking of doing this myself, however maybe abit lean on stock carb with a full system and 250 main jet?
@glynn123 So I think it's absolutely criminal, however Rob @ Yamaha Skellerns Cheltenham tells me that these bikes are massively restricted by the air box and he encourages the cutting of them for performance sake. As said, I just run a pod filter as it means you don't butcher an OEM part.

@calum mines already slightly butchered haha, I have my snorkel removed so was thinking of just elongating the hole across, not cutting the whole lid, however I might just leave it for this summer.

You might want to keep the box/snorkel if you plan to go off road a lot, through fords etc, as cone filters and the like are not so great at keeping water out of your engine

@Calum look further up

@Darty here you can see

My wr200cc/dt125r hybrid engine runs with lid cut off. I ran it also with the 125 engine. You just need to jet accordingly.
