    @Louis-James just out of interest how much would you sell a converted engine for providing you could get the parts ?

    The hills are alive with the sound of ... braaaap baaaaap 😁

      @stinkwheeler hi, unfortunately I can't offer this as fowlers (my supplier) state that most of the parts I ordered were bottom of the barrel. I could modify the cases for someone who sources Thier own parts.
      However this crankshaft here is the same as the dt200r https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F272935562363

      For anyone who wants a go

        @Louis-James

        I'm literally waiting for a few nuts and washers to come+ the correct oil pump drive shaft... There's 2 versions.

        If anyone has a dt200r , wr200 or dt200wr head spare.. let me know. Rather buy off here..

              @Louis-James Honestly that engine is just down right filthy, I just do not know how you have the balls to post pics of an engine is such poor disrepair!!!

                That's looking smart, should finish it off with a load of titanium bolts.

                      @Louis-James Genuinely, the weight saving is quite surprising.

                        As I have finished the 1988 bike looking for something to do. Seriously looking at doing this to keep me busy. I'll have to look around and see if I can find the parts needed. Nice job!
