Take off oilpump/autolube
-
It merely unbolts from the clutch cover. Then just remove the oil tank and oil lines. Remove the secondary throttle cable from the junction box.
I would remove the cog from the underside of the clutch cover to minimise unnecessary drag on the engine.
That being said...I'd leave the oil pump on.

Thanks for your replies.
How i’m understanding it is it’s easier to leave the pump on and use it rather than to bother taking it off? -

I’m just really paranoid about it failing but it might not be worth the hassle removing it. I’ve just been used to mixing on mx bikes.

@HassePallisgaard Run a clear line from the pump to the engine. Then if the pump fails you will notice the air in the line

just thought i would have my input

Iv removed my oil pump and made a blanking plate because it makes throttle cables easier to replace as its just one straight forward line not 1 into 2 business, which for me is best because i can carry a spare with me then, also its not to hard to mix, i guess i like doing things the old fasion way, Call me stupid but thats they way i like it haha
