Hi. I am looking for new fork seals and steering bearings for my 1990 belgarda. Do you know if it is the same as DT?

@tdrnoob Biggest clue is going to be in the part numbers.

However, if this were me, I'd grab my vernier calipers and simply measure it.

Then head over to simplybearings.co.uk and just buy Koyo bearings as a replacement. Cheap and easy job.

Steering bearings probably yes. Fork seals no idea as DTR are possibly Kayaba and TDR are Paoli so might be different even though the stancions are the same diameter.

I'm tempted with YZ/WR forks with a supermoto calliper spacer to run the stock Brembo disc maybe with a matching Brembo goldline calliper as the TDR disc is exactly the same as my 900 Monster

Meant to add that my original calliper was glued on with one of the mounts, so god only knows how it 'passed' its last MOT.

This will teach me not to bid on ebay late at night with the old "I'll never win that...."

                        Think yours was safer...

Had forgotten what buying a total nail was like. This bike is reminding me everytime I go near it.

This is going to be an over winter project along with my Monster as I've got to choose between spending my spare (lol) cash on my garage or building the bikes up. Whilst the bikes are the most interesting the garage project is the one which will enable the bikes to be built quicker, later.

@nottsbiker yeah exactly if your planning on spending relationship ending amounts of money on bikes then you need a good solid shed or garage

Got most of a sectional garage stacked up in my garden and a loft / shed full of Ducati and Yamaha parts which barely leaves any room to move in. I've also have an 8x4m hole dug in my garden for ages filled with hardcore and aggregate waiting for some expensive concrete to be poured on top. Apparently I'll need 5 cubic metres of concrete which equates to over 100 wheelbarrow's worth + my garden is about 60m from the front, up a slope to the 'garage' - this will definitely require favours to be called in!
