DTDR Build

@calum oh yes , after Im changed the brake lines for hel braided lines, the standard forks always compressed like crazy ,not cool in the situation when you need stop quickly and whole weight moving over front wheel.

I also found the DTR forks to be like Pogo sticks under the force of sharp breaking. -

@declan no mate the spacer was custom made on a lathe.
if you run a kickstart only DT I believe you can then do away with the battery box and run a capacitor. I also think to my knowledge the shock will go on but the top mounts will need changing and you would have to use the wr linkage, bearing in mind this will Jack up the arse end extremely leaving you to lower it.
wrote on 17 Sept 2017, 09:08 last edited by ricky0115@tdrgreg2 Do you have the dimensions for the spacer? I just got a whole MX125 front end for £100 shipped! Also, can i fit a knobbly tyre on the front as i dont fancy a supermoto setup?

You'd need aprilia rx 125 forks for a nobly set up as the brake is positioned higher for the bigger disk on the sm wheel

wrote on 17 Sept 2017, 22:12 last edited by@vtrn_raptor sorry, why would a tyre make any difference to the braking system? I don't have much understanding of bikes lol

Basically the supermoto wheels have bigger disks so need the brake position in a Different place to the off-road wheels
