Twin rad

Awesome thanks.
Only reason was with the yz engine i no longer need the oil tank and that leaves a massive gap. Not sure what todo ATM. The Lanza rad appears to be a rare beast.

Any suggestions on what to use for a twin rad setup on the dt?
Thanks
@gareth_iowc There's some decent ali rads to be found on ebay dude.

I like these , looks strong enough even without frame but Im afraid about the clearance between expansion chamber, tank etc...

Having these in watchlist for some time...

That's what I tried to fit. At the top of both rads there is an outlet to join them. On the yz there is a gape in the frame but on the dt there is not. I didn't fancy drilling the frame.

I have a r/h radiator from a Dt200r. Reasonable condition bit someone painted it dark blue. Doubt there is much benefit from it because it's capacity is tiny

@Calum cool mate , will be great to make a tutorial for us how to fit them on the dt
Just when he not looking take them off

@gareth_iowc Just get a big fat ali one dude, Yamaha spent millions designing the bike, if they decided that a single rad was all that was required, then who are we too argue???

@CYBER-NINJA They also made the bike to a budget. So it is possible to improve the bike in areas

@Calum Very true, but you have already stated that having a second rad has not improved the engine cooling, so why go through all the hassle if it's not gonna make much of an improvement???
@CYBER-NINJA An ally rad would make a huge difference. The Lanza rad, like the DT200R Rad, has a tiny capacity. I'm sure it ran very hot. But then the DT never had a digital temperature gauge to compare it to. The RE's Simply have a light that goes on when the engine is too hot.
