Saw this advertised this morning and just got back from picking it up!
Road legal CR85 on sumo wheels. Should be a nice bit of fun when it's running but at the moment it looks like this!

Another 2 stroke! -
Wheelies at nightWent out with a couple of mates last night and recorded some nice looking footage using the headlights of a Ford Focus and a battery powered LED floodlight. Hope you all enjoy !

TDR Cruising NicelyBeen taking the bike to work everyday whilst we have the nice weather, always amazes me how versatile this bike is. Anything from green lanes to motorway riding without issues. Bike was absolutely radiating heat after this ride though! Puts the stock exhaust through a lot

Clear Carb Warming HosesI am totally in love with see through parts when it comes to engines. My dream would be to have totally clear engine cases, but as that's probably not possible, I'll settle with smaller bits. So far I only have the classic see through oil delivery line going from the pump to the carb / reed block but saw recently on the old forum that @Calum had see through carb warming hoses at one point. He didn't test them out though so this will be a bit of a trial run... I am hoping it will look pretty nice with the green coolant I use.
So I ordered 2 metres of this stuff. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222427995004 The ad says it's for the coolant overflow, so I am hoping it will be rated to cope with the usual coolant operating temperatures.
Further down the road I hope to replace all of the coolant hoses with clear ones, as well as trying to fabricate or source one of the notorious see through clutch covers.
This one was made by Nelson Ferreira, the same guy who makes the stainless steel DT pipes.
And finally the last part that is actually feasible is the oil pump cover as seen in this pic.

CommutingIn the past couple of weeks I have been using the my TDR 125 to commute 40 miles a day when it's not raining, 36 of which are on the motorway.
I must say it has been a real treat. Although I obviously can't travel at the sort of speeds I can do on my MT-03, it is 10x more comfy, and going back to road riding on a two stroke is exactly how I remembered it. A crap load of fun!
Usually cruising between 7k and 8k on the revometer so probably overdoing it a bit at times, but it seems to be coping pretty nicely. So far I've had an indicated 85 on the speedo which I think is mad considering it's got the stock exhaust on it!
Warms up nice and quickly after I first pull away and usually stays solid in the middle of the heat gauge for the whole journey. Overall really enjoying it and it's definitely tempting me more and more to sell up and upgrade to the 250 version!

MaydayAnybody else go to Hastings today?
Haven't been on Mayday before, it was mad!

Twin rad@Zrako, @gareth_iowc already mentioned why they won't fit without modification to the frame. That picture you showed is Calums brother YZ.. nothing to do with the DT.

Another 2 stroke! In the end i decided to just change the piston even though there was a score down the cylinder
and the head was quite worse for wear.
But i made the right choice for now as it only cost me a ridiculous £13.55 delivered... Can't go wrong even if it only lasts me a couple of rides!
Went out for a blast earlier.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TFb0p8WNiANow just finished swapping over the foot brake for a left hand brake I never got around to fitting on my DTX.
So should be ready for a bit of stunt practice tomorrow

Trailer for an upcoming KTM E-SM editWent to an abandoned factory a few days ago and got a few nice clips of me on the Freeride messing around. Just finished putting together a trailer for it.

Another 2 stroke!@CYBER-NINJA of course! As soon as it's running I'll be out there seeing what gear I can pull it up in.

Wheelies at nightMight do a follow up again at some point, maybe try and get a load of cars lined up. Did try out the 100fps on my camera though and got this lot the other day

KTM Freeride E-SM (Electric)Finally ordered a set of off road wheels for it yesterday. Had to shell out a very unfriendly price of £700 with tyres.. Madness! But you just can't get the Freeride series wheels in used condition yet. They are a very odd combination of hubs similar to the tiny KTM 85 bikes (20mm rear spindle), laced onto normal sized rims. Only SM Pro or genuine KTM parts are available. So I went for SM Pro Platinum orange hubs and nipples, with stainless spokes and black rims. Should look nice!

First Case of Road RashPosted my first collision last year on another thread, but now I've ended up giving myself a bit of road rash from this silly move just yesterday. Skip to 1:22 for the main event.

That's a two stroke mx 80 / 85 for you... Nasty power curves
Tiny bit on my arm from where my jacket sleeve rolled up, and a nice big patch on my leg as it ripped through my joggers. I can't imagine this was past 20mph but I wouldn't want to experience it going much faster. Just thankful my gloves and footwear had enough protection!

Spotted on one of the DT Facebook pages
It's a Grom with a KTM LC2 engine (Same as DT engine)
A chap named Mike Taylor is building it. Pretty cool I thought. I found riding an actual Grom pretty dull so a DT engine might make it a bit more interesting. -
Forum Corner@CYBER-NINJA looks like an older style model by the looks of the tank, probably just in sumo trim.

PIC HEAVY (wr200 topend , zeeltronic, tm34ss carb, V-force reed block,Larger radiator,DEP PIPE,)@Louis-James isn't that the one bit you don't want to paint?!
