Bought this off Gumtree, all threads stripped, I had to use a m10 helicoil kit on the head studs. The powervalve was damaged so I bought a brand new one at a later date. This is the nickasil bore version and didn't need a re-bore luckily so I bought a new wiseco piston and a brand-new wr200 crankshaft, originally I bought a wiseco yamaha blaster one which did fit in with modifications to the primary drive gear but I wasn't happy with it so I swapped it.

Here's a close up of the wr200s boost ports (before I cleaned them) note: also bought a brand new powervalve afterwards as the dowl holes were sloppy.

I cut off the flow guide from the manifold (this is not a restrictor, people think it is but it isn't, removing it will lose performance) I do not need this as my reed block comes with one fitted.

                        I used a tm34ss from a Aprilia rs250

Note the angle spigots, this makes fitting a lot more easy and the float bowl stays level

I had to carefully enlarge the manifolds bore to 34mm and also increase the size to fit the carburetor in, I managed to add a grip step to match the carburetor (this adds more stability.)

Because the size of the carbs inlet I had to compromise. I tried a yz250 evos rubber boot which almost was perfect but it kept breaking due to age.

So plan B was like this:

I had to blank off the vacuum pipes on the carb and I also adjusted the autolube because of all my modifications

I forgot to say that my DEP exhaust is for a wr200, so it's perfect for my bike. I had to make custom fixing and rubber mounts. Note how long the silencer was hahaha

This bike really is amazing and I'm totally enjoying reading through this 😃. I'm guessing all these upgrades must have cost a lot of money ,definitely worth it though lol if this was my bike I'd be scared to use it incase it got dirt on it or a scratch 😁
